I had purchased several beach reading books from my local library, some favorite CDs; a couple bottles of Prosecco, along with a couple of baguettes, cheeses, pate,’ fruit and tasty treats.

Image result for PHOTO OF A BAD WITH WINE, TREATS, BOOKSMy bags were packed. I planned to not listen to news or to blog for at few days until Thursday, June 8, 2017 which is when the former FBI Director James Comey will be testifying at a US Congressional hearing.

After the news, that the republican President Donald Trump had chosen to withdraw the USA from THE 2015 PARIS CLIMATE ACCORD, I had found myself being so angry while crying tears of fury.

And so, I’m headed out for a lovely beach holiday. I found that I was so looking forward to this time of meditation, calmness and relaxation.

What I did not do was listen to that voice of the republican President Donald Trump.

On June 3, 2017, I did participate in the “Truth March” being held in St. Petersburg, FL. with about 260 other like minded peoples.

There was my one poor experience in my travels heading south to the beach condo. Because I have been a bit under the weather, I take steps to identify the closest restroom. I was close to Angelo’s Bar and Grille where I intended to use its facilities as well as purchase something for a quick lunch. I was shocked to be greeted by a woman yelling that she did not want any of us who were protesting to come into her place of business. It must be a wonderful situation where the owner can afford to lose so much available extra monies..Image result for photos of mazzaros in st petersburg flRelated image

Related imageAfter the march, I traveled south to purchase all the treats for my vacation at Mazzaro’s Italian Market in St. Petersburg, FL. I managed to accomplish quite a bit to time my arrival at the condo resort at 3:00 pm for check-in time.

There has to be time to make friends at the beach. I ended up spending quite a bit of time with family of gals from the Niagara Falls region on the Canadian side.

A COUPLE OF DAYS WERE RAINY which is rare in Florida but it does happen. During the summers, it is common to have afternoon showers but that is it.

There are things to do on the mid-west section of Florida which I recommend to do on those rainy days, and which are as follows:

      • glad you’re back to the old grind…try to relax, information dispensing is the best possible use of time and effort. The public needs to know what is going on, and providing reliable news outlets is an excellent pastime.

  15. Not before time! I don’t know how you can spend so much time in his company (so to speak) and not go barking mad. I’ve just had two days disconnected and believe me it is still all there when you get back. Have a great break and come back refreshed.
