“Protests against Donald Trump’s UK visit are taking place across Britain, as the president holds talks with Theresa May amid tensions over his criticism her Brexit plan.”
“A huge blimp baby depicting Mr Trump wearing a nappy is flying over Westminster, where a huge “ring of steel” has been erected for security before tens of thousands of demonstrators march through London’s streets.”
“Protests are also planned at Chequers, Theresa May’s country estate, and in Scotland, where the American leader will arrive on Friday evening after having tea with Queen at Windsor Castle.
It comes after the prime minister was rattled by the president’s latest intervention on Brexit. In an interview with The Sun, Mr Trump was heavily critical of the proposed EU deal thrashed out by Ms May her cabinet, warning it would “probably kill” any future UK-US trade agreement.
The US leader said he would have done the negotiations “much differently” and claimed the prime minister had not listened to his advice.

Gronda, I think many future invitations to the US President will be reconsidered. Why would you invite a tempestuous man to your home if he is going to pee in your swimming pool? It is all about The Donald. Keith

His behavior was outrageous. His joint press conference was an improvement. He said he would not block UK from doing trade with EU countries but he would still do trade with UK.

Gronda, watching the press conference, I kept repeating a mantra of “don’t say something stupid.” He did not, thank goodness, but May was very Presidential and spoke of joint collaborations, while the US one spoke of very social things without much substance.
To me, May showed a lot of class after her guest vilified her in the press. If the shoe was on the other foot, would he be as gracious? Keith

Dear Keith,
I have to give PM Mays credit for remaining professional under fire. I would hate to think what President Trump would have called her if their positions had been reversed.
But PM May managed to get President Trump to behave better or could it be, the president knew about the Deputy AG Rosenstein latest indictments naming specific Russians who interfered in our US elections.
