Stunning New Revelations By FBI’s Andrew McCabe / The End Is Near For Mueller Report

On the afternoon of the 20th of February 2019, I was watching the MSNBC cable news TV show, as the host Nicole Wallace started questioning the former FBI Acting Deputy Andrew McCabe about his new book, “The Threat” which I’ve ordered from Amazon. Mr. McCabe did share some stunning new information.
He detailed how he had been privy to the original 4 page letter that the republican President Donald Trump had written as a pretext for the firing of the former FBI Director James Comey around May 2017. Within the text, there is a listing of reasons as to why the president elected to take this action which included the fact that Director Comey had not yet terminated the employment of the FBI’s Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.
President Trump had penned this 4 page letter long before there was ever an Inspector General’s report accusing Mr. McCabe of having leaked FBI data to news outlets and for his supposed subsequent lack of candor regarding his alleged misdeeds. This critical IG review ended up being the basis for the firing of Mr. McCabe around March 2018, and just a couple of days shy of his being able to retire with full benefits.
Andrew McCabe shared with the MSNBC host Nicole Wallace that he was convinced that his abrupt termination under a cloud of having his credibility questioned, was due to his continuing the probe into President Trump’s wrongdoings. He added that the inspector general’s inquiry process that he endured, was not like anything he had ever previously experienced; that he disagreed with its conclusions and that he planned to sue the Justice Department over it.
It turns out that President Trump never used that 4 page letter. The New York Times reported that White House officials had urged him not to send it. Instead, he cited a memo written by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, focusing on the Hillary Clinton emails investigation, as the justification to fire the FBI Director Comey in May 2017.
As per the 2/20/19 Washington Examiner report, “McCabe was fired from the FBI on March 16, 2018, less than two days before he planned to retire on his 50th birthday and collect a full pension, after the Justice Department’s Office of the Inspector General determined that he misled investigators about the role he had in leaking information to the Wall Street Journal in October 2016 about the investigation into the Clinton Foundation. In April, it was revealed that the Justice Department IG had referred its findings to the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington for possible criminal charges.”
It was after the firing of the FBI Director James Comey in May 2017, when the Acting FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe along with the US Department of Justice officials, opened up a counterintelligence investigation into President Donald Trump’s alleged continued interactions with Russian officials that could compromise US national security interests.

But it was not set up as a separate case. Instead Mr. McCabe saw to where it was added to the already existing FBI’s counter-intelligence investigation that had been initiated around July 2016, to figure out if some of the president’s campaign staffers had been acting in concert with Russian operatives to interfere in the 2016 US presidential election. Then the FBI’s probe into the president’s alleged attempts to obstruct justice / stop/ interfere with the FBI’s inquiry was also folded into this one counterintelligence case. This was done so that if and when Mr. McCabe or any other key law enforcement officials ended up being fired, there would be no easy way for any bad actors to end it, outright.
In addition, these steps insured that the FBI would have access to any and all intelligence tools/ data to conduct a thorough investigation which ended up being managed by the esteemed former 12 year FBI Director Robert Muller III, as a Special Counsel who was appointed by the Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. As a newly hired DOJ Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Rosenstein had felt abused by the president when the memo written by him, about Mr. Comey was used as a pretext to fire him.

Around this time, Mr. McCabe and others took time to inform the US Congressional “Gang of Eight,” a bipartisan group of leaders on the Hill authorized to have access to classified intelligence, about why the FBI had included President Trump in its counterintelligence investigation. According to Mr. McCabe, none of the US Congressional representatives present, voiced objections, not on legal grounds, not on constitutional grounds and not based on the facts.
Mr. McCabe described the purpose of the 2017 briefing, was to let the congressional leaders, including Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, then-House Speaker Paul Ryan and their Democratic counterparts, know what the FBI was doing in the FBI’s probe into Russian election interference and possible collusion by the president’s campaign.
Note that the ‘Gang of 8″ included the former GOP US House Intel Committee Chairman Rep. Devin Nunes who’s been a well known mole for President Trump, guaranteed that whatever the FBI shared in his presence would be delivered pronto to the White House.
The end is near…
CNN News and the Washington Post have been reporting that the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigative findings are close to being finalized by the Special Counsel Robert Mueller. The final analysis is expected to be delivered to the DOJ’s newly confirmed Attorney General William Barr, by the end of February 2019. What happens after that is up for speculation. But there is a consensus that as much as possible of Mr. Mueller’s findings should be shared with the public.
Despite the above reporting, I’m hesitant to buy into the end being near because there is some unfinished business like the Roger Stone trial. But, we’ll know soon enough. I have no doubt that President Donald Trump’s administration will do everything and anything they can conjure up, to prevent the full Mueller report from seeing the light of day.
As per the 2/20/19 Washington Post report, “Justice Department preparing for Mueller report in coming days” by Devlin Barrett, Josh Dawsey and Matt Zapotosky, “Justice Department officials are preparing for the end of special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s nearly two-year investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and believe a confidential report could be issued in coming days, according to people familiar with the discussions.”
“The special counsel’s investigation has consumed Washington since it began in May 2017, and it increasingly appears to be nearing its end, which would send fresh shock waves through the political system. Mueller could deliver his report to Attorney General William P. Barr next week, according to a person familiar with the matter who, like others, spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive deliberations.”
“Regulations call for Mueller to submit to the attorney general a confidential explanation as to why he decided to charge certain individuals, as well as who else he investigated and why he decided not to charge those people. The regulations then call for the attorney general to report to Congress about the investigation.”
Gronda, running the country like a mafia boss, Trump demands loyalty without offering it in return. The Donald also is very vindictive, which is why so many people are scared of. And, truth is a malleable commodity, only to be used when it favors one’s arguments.
Firing McCabe as he was packing up his office to retire is a good example of the kind of person the US President is. It is hard to be a good leader, when one is not a good person. At some point, this loathsome behavior comes to the surface. Even the marketing expertise of Trump can “whack” all the moles rhat are surfacing, using the game analogy.
The former FBI Acting Deputy Director is coming off as very credible in his numerous interviews. I bet other authors wish President Trump would complain about them as Mr. McCabe’s book is selling off the shelves.
I admire how Mr. McCabe has been handling himself after the President’s many unrelenting attempts to destroy him. This speaks to his character.
I have faith in decent competent professionals like Mr. McCabe. During a recent interview, he voiced a lot of faith in Mr. Mueller to do what’s right. He’s expecting Mr. Mueller to present a report that covers just about everything with a narrative that explains in detail what happened.
I’m believing this as well. If Mr. Barr delivers a synopsis that’s less than what Mr. McCabe has described, then we know that there’s something wrong in the state of Denmark.
Nothing surprises me about what Andrew McCabe has revealed Gronda. He and Comey made mistakes, but I find them far more credible than Individual #1. As far as Mueller’s report goes, I doubt there will be anything in there that results in the impeachment of Individual #1, as the bar forbthat has been set impossibly high. I’m hoping though it will leave him vulnerable and open to criminal charges when he leaves office. I’m also hoping it will result in more indictments against people in his inner circle, most notably Don Jr., and Jared Kushner.
Both FBI men James Comey and Andrew McCabe were career public servants who deserved better. I disagreed with some of Mr. Comey’s actions but I had never doubted his integrity.
Here’s what gets me. We had Mike Pompeo who was the former CIA Director. He had been required to be read in as to what was happening with FBI counterintelligence investigation regarding the president’s campaign staffers’ ties to Russian operatives. This tells me that President Trump would have been informed as to who were the FBI agents handling this probe.
I’m buying the proposition that Mr. McCabe could have been set up.
