aside Dear GOP, Dems Have Not Lost Faith In Mueller Report But In The Barr Summary

Dear GOP FOLKS/ NOW Of THE TRUMP’S Republican Party, “We the Never Trumpers” from the left to the right have not succumbed to your Russian propaganda like talking points that Democrats are dissing the FBI’s Special Counsel Robert Mueller III who led its Trump-Russia probe by not accepting his conclusions; that the FBI’s 3/22/2019 final report exonerates President Donald Trump 100%; and that the Democrats were too dependent on the FBI’s Trump-Russia probe to where they can’t accept findings that are favorable to the president.

The vast majority of Americans have faith in the integrity, decency, competency of the FBI’s Special Counsel Mueller to where he has been instrumental in restoring our faith in one of our long held Democratic pillars, ‘the rule of law.”

Targeting the House’s Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff for retribution by GOP sycophants working in the US Congress, as they follow President Trump’s vendetta agenda, does not add any credibility to their talking point mantra, that Mr. Barr’s summary is an accurate reflection of what Mr. Mueller has attempted to share with the American peoples in his 3/22/2019 report.

“We the people” know a trustworthy, honorable man when we see such a man. No amount of gas lighting GOP marketing campaigns will move us from this faith. But his reliability helps us to focus on the weak point in this whole roll out of the FBI’s 3/22/2019 report which is the partisan hack job brought to us by the GOP partisan, the US Attorney General William Barr via his 4 page summary of a the FBI’s 700 page report, as per FOX TV news. Other news reports dated on 3/28/2019 are indicating that the FBI’s final report is 300 pages.

Remember that the one issue that the FBI’s Mueller report and the memo by the US Attorney General Barr put to rest is the fact that RUSSIA DID INDEED LAUNCH AND CONDUCT A MAJOR ATTACK ON THE 2016 US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS INFRASTRUCTURE AND THAT THIS IS A CONTINUING THREAT. This is the crucial finding.

PRESIDENT TRUMP REFUSED TO BELIEVE US EXPERTS BUT RELIED ON PUTIN’S VERSION THAT RUSSIA NEVER ATTACKED US ELECTIONS INFRASTRUCTURE IN 2016

Because of Mr. Mueller’s reputation for being thorough to a fault, I’m believing with a 99.99% certainty that Mr. Mueller had already provided a summary of conclusions to be delivered to the US Congress and the American public. There was no need for President’s hand picked Attorney General William Barr to substitute his own summary.

I’m also convinced that he planned for this partisan end run and interference with the FBI’s Trump Russia probe that he had already farmed out parts of his investigation to multiple alternate US Attorneys’ offices around the country.  We have very recently learned that there is an ongoing grand jury in the Washington D.C. area, originally convened by the FBI’s  Special Counsel Robert Mueller, that has been described as on-going and robust in its work, post the FBI’s final report.

As per a 3/23/2019 New York Times report, Mr. Mueller has farmed out strands of its FBI’s Trump-Russia inquiry to at least three other United States attorneys’ offices, including the EDNY in Brooklyn, the District of Columbia and the Eastern District of Virginia (EDVA) in addition to the SDNY the Southern District of NY in Manhattan. The 3/23/19 Palmer report added the following offices,  the U.S. Attorney’s office in Los Angeles, the DOJ National Security Division, and the DOJ Criminal Division.

I love the way the Democratic Party rising star framed her doubts about the 3/22/2019 FBI’s findings summarized by the (DOJ) US Department of Justice’s Attorney General William Barr.

The Democratic Party rising star Georgian Stacey Abrams described the AG Barr’s assessment as being akin to one’s brother summarizing a report card to their parents in a couple of TV news interviews.

In one conversation, she said “It’s inappropriate for us to assume we know what the Mueller report says until we can read the Mueller report.”  “Having someone whose job it is … he became Attorney General in part because he chastised Mueller during the earlier process. I don’t think we can assume that what he has reported in his summary is an accurate summary of the report, but the best way to know what was said in the report is to read the report.”

    • Dear SKLawlor,

This is not a liberal or conservative issue. There are numerous conservative thinking champions who would agree that President Trump is abusing his presidential powers in numerous ways. These thinkers include Bill Kristol, Tom Nichols, David Jolly, Joe Scarborough, Max Boot, Jennifer Rubin, and numerous other voices.

In short, the ‘Never Trumpers’ include peoples from the left to the right..

The Trumpian Republican Party is declining in membership for a reason. They are also literally dying out of it.

As per a Jan. 2018 Brookings. edu report,

” How can we explain what looks to be a long-term decline for the Republican brand? Age, for one thing. From the beginning of the Trump administration the oldest Americans, those aged 50 and over, have consistently given Trump his highest approval ratings while young people aged 18–29 have consistently given him his lowest approval ratings. The chart (demonstrating this reality) by David A. Hopkins of Boston College illustrates this. The generation gap keeps showing up in American elections. In the two big governors’ races in 2017, Virginia and New Jersey, younger voters chose Democrats by large margins and older voters went for the Republicans. In 2016, Primaries Project exit polling showed that 15.2 percent of Democratic voters participating in competitive primaries were aged 18–29, compared to just 8.3 percent of Republican voters.”

“A political party that can’t attract young people, especially in a generation that is as big as the Millennial generation—America’s largest demographic group—is not a party with a very bright future. So although Trump, while focusing on the base, has made the Republican Party his, come November it may not be as much of an advantage.”

      • That’s also a good point. By the way, did you see that link I posted to Jill’s blog about the cheese wall? Now there’s an interesting artistic way to make a statement.

  1. Why is so hard to find honest people in leadership today?
We pay them enough but can’t seem to get honest people anymore.

Like the rest they should be fired when caught doing something wrong but no that law doesn’t seem to apply to the SPECIAL ONES.

  2. Dear NB,

Thanks for the reference. I’m disheartened to learn that Canada’s ‘rule of law’ is also under attack. I’m with you 100%. I do not want to see judicial systems becoming instruments of partisanship in Democratically run countries.

Most of us want our justices to act in a non-partisan basis, to be impartial in meting out justice. Is this to much to ask for when we are paying for that system with our taxes?

  3. Gronda, you could add David Brooks, Michael Gerson, George Will, and Erick Erickson to the list of conservative pundits who are dismayed with this President. Gerson was one of the first out of the gate during the campaign raising concerns over his lack of truthfulness and bullying behavior. Steve Schmidt, a former GOP strategist, is even more vocal. And, as an Independent and former Republican, I wonder where the GOP has gone. The letters I have penned to Senators is about how we are devaluing allied relationships and agreements as we retrench from the world, greasing the skids for an ascendant China. The US is less trusted because our President is untrustworthy. This is of great concern to me. Keith

    • Dear Keith,

Thanks for the other names. We forgot Nicole Wallace. That Democratic Candidates will win in 2020 will be due to many of these conservative Never Trumper republicans, Independent voters and Democratic Party members.

The president taking steps to divide us from NATO and other strategic alliances is why I consider him to be a clear and present danger to our US national security interests.

      He is toxic.

    • Dear Sotomayor111,

It’s good news that the GOP have not succeeded in buffaloing Americans to buy their propaganda that the Mueller report completely exonerates the president from all his wrongdoing related to the Trump-Russia probe.

The most recent CNN poll shows that 56% of Americans DO NOT BELIEVE THE MUELLER REPORT exonerates the president.

Thanks a million for your support and for this reblog.

  4. What I have referred to as ‘The Great Divide’ in this nation just got even wider. Our nation is truly split now between ‘Us’ and ‘Them’. Trump and his minions are doing everything in their power to finalize that split. Your cartoon with William Barr saying “The presidency is dead; Long live the monarchy” speaks volumes.
    Hugs.

    • Dear Jill,

The president and his cohort AG William Barr are exacerbating the divisions in this country by trying a sleight of hand con job on the American peoples but they both have underestimated the intelligence of the American taxpayers. They are missing the element of fair play, justice, truth, decency with being too clever by half.

They both deserve to sink with the ship of history which not look kindly on either of them.

      • Agreed, but I only hope their ship sinks soon and we can get some level-headed people in our government. We simply cannot allow him to win re-election in 2020. I see he was campaigning in Michigan or somewhere tonight and bragging about the “hoax” Russian investigation and how he was completely exonerated. How does he have time to do his job if he’s all the time at a campaign rally???
        Hugs!

  5. Dear Crustyolemothman,

Thanks for the reference. It’s a pleasure to know that there are lots of folks out there , paying attention and who aren’t easily gas-lighted.

It’s good to hear from you and I’m hoping that all is okay with you.
