It was the same New York Times with a series of articles about Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified material as former Secretary of State that helped keep her out of the White House in 2016. Now they’re at it again with leading the cry for President Joe Biden to step down as the democrats’ presidential candidate based on admittedly, a very poor recent June 2024 performance on the debate stage against the GOP MAGA ex-president.

Here’s a dose of reality. POTUS Joe Biden was losing within the margin of error in the polls within the swing states before the recent debate debacle. There’s no guarantee that another presidential candidate would fare any better in the polls but it’s a certainty there’ll be division in the ranks when unity is crucial.

Get real! This POTUS Joe Biden is the same man who has by any standard, successfully ran this country for the past 3 and 1/2 years. Regular folks have figured out long ago that he’s old. At least, wait a couple of weeks post-debate for polls to truly reflect how voters are thinking.

Now, in a couple of weeks, if and when there are poor poll numbers, then I bet that POTUS Biden, himself, will be looking for a gracious off-ramp. For a smooth transition and to avoid chaos and in-fighting, POTUS Biden can give his vice-president, the nod. How about a democrat party ticket of VP Kamala Harris and PA. Governor Josh Shapiro or Vermont’s US Senator Bernie Sanders?

The time for panicked democrat party professional operators and news pundits to make a different choice from a Biden-Harris ticket was months ago. For now, try dealing in facts, and with transparency regarding POTUS Biden’s agism signs which don’t interfere with his ability to govern. For example, I bet that most voters aren’t aware that POTUS Biden’s stiffness when walking is because he suffers from significant spinal arthritis?

For me it makes no difference who the democrat’s choice to be president is right now. But it’s urgent that democrats suck it up and start fighting hard to salvage our US democracy from those who’d prefer to install an autocratic government like Russia. This is what’s truly on the ballot. Don’t let GOP MAGA political operatives drive the democrat party’s strategies for winning in November 2024.

Before POTUS Biden’s June 27th flop on the debate stage, there were weeks of a widespread GOP MAGA propaganda campaign designed to paint him as a tottering old man with declining capabilities based on edited videos, misinformation. There were reports alleging that POTUS Biden probably has Parkinson’s disease as well as Alzheimer’s based on no medical data. Currently, some political punditry naysayers are piling on this GOP MAGA multi-weeks’ propaganda hit job by demanding that he step away from being the democrat’s presidential candidate.

This is why the GOP MAGA congressional officials have been demanding the audio recording versus just their receipt of a transcript of the interview of POTUS Biden with the Trump appointed Department of Justice’s Special Counsel Robert Kyoung Hur, regarding the alleged mishandling of classified material while he was vice-president.

As per a March 2024 AP report, (Robert Hur) is the special counsel who impugned the president’s age and competence in his February 2024 report on how Joe Biden handled classified documents, even after he declared that no criminal charges were warranted in the president’s handling of classified documents.

Based on above-described herculean ways that GOP MAGA operators have been firing the GOP MAGA propaganda war machine designed to lead to his demise by harping on POTUS Biden’s health for weeks like they did with Hillary Clinton, I don’t want to rush to judgment against this very decent public servant who has been fighting hard to protect our US democracy while improving the lives of all Americans for 50+ years.

Excuse me for wanting more facts/ real data, evidence beyond the president having one really bad debate performance before I’ll no longer back the democrat POTUS Joe Biden, 100%. 

I contend that the January 27th presidential debate format made it a “mission impossible” task for the democrat POTUS Biden to prevail…

I’ve been arguing that CNN’s failure to provide on the spot fact checking, ensured debate failure by POTUS Biden. This is because any professional experienced TV reality performer will always win with the absence of any evidentiary burden. This allows debaters the freedom to spew utter nonsense, or even outright lies, without providing any valid, veritable basis in fact, for their assertions for 90 minutes. Under these circumstances, anyone with less TV showmanship always loses.

Remember how numerous previous GOP MAGA presidential contenders, all at younger ages than POTUS Biden and many who would’ve probably governed well from the White House who were annihilated in debates by the GOP MAGA ex-president.

Now, some political back seat drivers who’re calling for POTUS Biden to step down, also would’ve been pummeled in this type of debate. Even CEOs like Jeff Bazos would have floundered to where he’d look foolish.

Frankly, getting beat up by TV’s top professional bully is traumatizing.

It may be great for TV ratings but it’s my opinion that it’s far from being the optimum way to determine who’s best for a very tough job.

Thus, it’s my point of view that barring any serious proven medical issues that could interfere with POTUS Biden’s decision-making capabilities and despite one recent poor debate performance, President Biden should continue onwards. For now, any non -Trump voter should ignore all the commentary by the pundits prematurely writing his eulogy.
