Project 2025 Will Scare Americans into Voting for All Pro-Democracy Candidates
1978-2015
Recently, there’ve been calls for Democrats to dampen down criticism of the GOP MAGA ex-president. Meanwhile the GOP MAGA firebrands have amped up the blame game, claiming that the Democrats’ critical rhetoric of the ex-president led to the recent assassination attempt against him. As per the Wrap,” “Today is not just some isolated incident,”(J.D.) Vance wrote on X. “The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs. That rhetoric led directly to President Trump’s attempted assassination.”
***
“Democrats wanted this to happen,” Greene posted on X. “They’ve wanted Trump gone for years and they’re prepared to do anything to make that happen.”
***
Frankly, I don’t care what the GOP MAGAs, political punditry, Washington DC elites, powerful donors say. The democrat party’s President Joe Biden’s campaign operation cannot be constrained in truthfully presenting the contrast between the 2 nominees plans to govern.
***
And replacing President Joe Biden with another candidate without some proof that this measure would produce better results is foolhardy at best, especially since he has stated for the record, that he’s definitely staying in the race. The most recent polls don’t support the drastic action of changing out a candidate, with the democratic party’s convention being held within just a couple of weeks and the elections, in about 100 days.
***
The only guaranteed outcome is that if the anti-Trump coalition of voters don’t get behind President Biden or any other nominee by 100%, democrat party candidates will end up losing elections in November, seats that they could’ve won.
***
A shiny new car doesn’t guarantee a better outcome in a race than the still functioning old speedster with a good track record, as long as the racing team working on it, figures out in a united way how to optimize the chances for a win in time for the scheduled race. As long as the older car still functions, no team would change out cars, especially if there’s no objective data that the new one will definitely perform better, just days before the competition.
***
For democratic party candidates to win in November, the focus should be about saving US democracy with its associated freedoms for ALL Americans and against freedoms being reserved solely for a minority, the GOP MAGA coalition. This minority consists of mostly White conservative Christian nationalists along with corporate executives and far-right ALEC type wealthy political activists who since 1933 FDR’s New Deal, have lobbied the republican party elected officials to pass laws towards serving their interests.
***
They’re easily recognizable because of their consistent goals which include the paying of less taxes; the packing of US federal courts with ultra-conservative justices; the ending of government regulations and safety-net programs like Medicare, They’re the ones who hate labor unions, women’s rights having been being expanded to include legal access to abortion healthcare and any reasonable gun regulations. For decades, they’ve promoted the GOP thinking that climate change science is a hoax, and that racism no longer exists, justifying the ending of all DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) being practiced by almost all US institutions.
***
In 1973, these conservative Christian leaders, wealthy political activists and corporate CEOs formed ALEC (American Legislative Exchange Council) to push/ lobby successfully for the above-described goals with template laws, designed for GOP state and federal legislators to enact laws that are favorable to their interests.
***
Because many of these far-right policies are so unpopular with the majority of voters, and unfavorable future demographics not ensuring republican party lawmakers continuing to win future elections, it’s inevitable, that our US democracy will mean the death of most of their long-held objectives. Thus, it serves their purposes better if the US democracy transitions into an autocracy.
***
What the GOP MAGA ex-president, a strong admirer of strongmen like Orban and Putin, brings to the table that makes him so powerful, is that since 2016, he has managed to increase republican party voters by millions of new voters, many of the working class, who had previously dropped out of participating in politics. These voters are cult-like in their loyalty to the ex-president to where republican candidates have learned; they can’t win elections without the support of the ex-president’s base.
***
This is why the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation’s has come up with its Project 2025, the 922-page blueprint written mostly by the ex-president’s trusted former appointees on how to morph the US democracy into an autocracy.
***
One of the goals that these conservative elites have dreamed about for decades, is for the overhauling of safety net programs like Medicare and of course, there’s a detailed plan for doing just that in the Project 2025 blueprint.
***
The two swing states of Michigan and Pennsylvania, both have over 2 million folks who count on Medicare. Florida has over 5 million. Even I can see a path forward for democrat party candidates winning in November by comfortable margins, and this includes President Biden. All the non-Trump organizers have to do is unite in exposing Project 2025’s plans to microscopic scrutiny, while flooding the content to voters via multi-media outlets.
The content of the 922 pages paints the picture of what life would be like under a Fascist-like dictator, that should scare lots of voters out of any state of complacency and motivate them to go to the polling booths.
***
There’s a 2022 video of the MAGA GOP ex-president delivering a speech on the Heritage Foundation’s premises, regarding his approval of Project 2025, that belies his current attempts to distance himself from its contents.
As per the July 11, 2024, Salon article by Griffin Eckstein, “In an April 2022 speech before the Heritage Foundation – the ultra-right group behind the 922-page policy manifesto – Trump acknowledged exactly the kind of work they’re doing and applauded them for “lay[ing] the groundwork” for his next administration. “They’re going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do,” Trump said of the Heritage Foundation and their efforts to – as they describe on the Project 2025 website – “pave the way” for Trump’s next administration.”
“I know nothing about Project 2025,” Donald Trump wrote in a Truth Social post earlier this month. “I have no idea who is behind it,” he added, despite speaking numerous times at Heritage Foundation events.”
“Searches for Project 2025 have overtaken terms like “Taylor Swift” and “NFL” on Google, per the company’s trend-tracking program, as Americans learn more about the deluge of unpopular and unusual proposals for the next Trump administration.”
“The Biden campaign has capitalized on the newfound attention towards the proposal, publishing over a dozen posts to X referencing Project 2025 on Thursday, bringing attention to details concerning abortion monitoring, civil servant purges, and social security cuts.”
Here are recent polling results…
The July 6, 2024, Morning Consult article by Eli Yokley, “Biden Has Lost Little Swing-State Support Following First Debate,” reports the following:
KEY TAKEAWAYS
“While the first 2024 presidential debate appeared to alarm some Democratic leaders, our surveys of swing-state for Bloomberg News show the matter has done little to change the underlying dynamics of the contest.”
“In the aggregate, Biden continues to underperform Trump among each candidate’s respective 2020 voters and their own party bases, while the two presumptive nominees are splitting independent voters almost evenly.”
Trump has been an admirer of strongmen like Mussolini and Hitler.
“Within the individual states, Biden leads former President Donald Trump in Michigan and Wisconsin, cementing several months of slightly improved performance, but has no advantage in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.”
“That said, among all swing-state voters, 55% said Biden should not continue his campaign, including 29% of Democrats and 58% of independents, and voters increasingly view each candidate’s vice-presidential selection as important.” (This means 71% of Democrats want POTUS Biden to stay in the race.)
“While race dynamics remain relatively stable, the data suggests the public would be amenable to a different Democrat atop the ticket, should Biden ultimately decide to end his campaign.”
In conclusion, no matter who the democrats’ presidential nominee is, Americans need to shut out all the background noises by planning to vote for all pro- democracy (democrat party) candidates instead of those who’re promoting Russian style autocracy and Project 2025, the ultra-conservative plan designed to restructure the US governmental infrastructure. With the Supreme Court’s recent immunity ruling (Trump v. United States), granting a president vastly expanded powers, the GOP MAGA ex-president, if elected, has been set up to become the first US dictator placed at the helm to navigate this transition from democracy into autocracy.
***
It’s so simple! Most Americans can be motivated to unite in voting D for pro-democracy versus R for Russian republicans who want autocracy.
Millions of Democrats voted for President Joe Biden to be their presidential nominee during the 2024 primary elections, despite concerns about his age. Elites don’t get the big picture. The 2024 elections should be about electing the elderly, honorable, decent candidate who’s championing the protection of US democracy versus the vindictive 78-year-old who promises to be a dictator, on day one, delivering retribution to all those not loyal to him.
I’m convinced that when voters get a full whiff of what’s contained in the 922-page Project 2025, the ultra-conservative blueprint on how to transform the US democracy into an autocracy, that they’ll be climbing over all obstacles to cast their ballots in droves in November 2024.

The real problem here is the constant audio and visual bombardment of Biden/Democrats by Trump/ Republicans. Age was not a factor until the media played it up, and even a lot of Democrat supporters fell for it hook, line, and sinker. Over and over and over. It does not matter whether there is truth to the matters or not — there is usually no truth at all — people start to believe things they constantly are hearing. That is human nature. And one thing the Republicans seem to understand better than the Democrats is human nature.
But what the Reprobates do not understand is you can only push people so far before they start to rebel against all the horrors the Republicans are trying to sell. They try to make abortions sound like murder, they try to make racism sound like patriotism, they try to make sexuality into homophobia, etc etc etc. There are some American voters who can be flummoxed, but the vast majority of people are compassionate people who want life to be better for everyone. The Republicans are over-selling their powerthirst to the point it is becoming nothing but a scare tactic.
However the Democrats have to do something to counteract all the bullshit lies being sold to the American people. They need to go on the offensive. Otherwise a lot of voters are going to be so sick of politics they will be too overwhelmed to get out to vote, even if they know they could lose their way of life. So show the rhetoric for what it is, a power grab. Point out the positive while contrasting it to the negative. Do not “sit on your asses,” get out there and make noise.
You get what the never-Trumpers and the democrats don’t get. By being so lukewarm and defeatist in their attitudes about POTUS Biden being their elderly presidential nominee because of his poor debate performance when weighed against an outstanding record of his accomplishments for the past 3+ years, they’re airing Democrats’ dirty laundry for all to see. This nitpicking will discourage many pro-democracy Biden voters from bothering to cast a ballot. Why should they take time to vote, if the race is already lost?
These Never-Trumpers and Democrats need a wake-up call because if Dem candidates lose elections in November, it won’t be because of Biden’s elderly age, but because of those who chose to form a circular firing squad instead of uniting to write their own narrative while developing and executing a winning strategy, who’ll be at fault.
Dems can win. If they take the time to fully educate voters about how the implementation of the ultra-right Project 2025 plans to overhaul the US government will make their economic well-being, so much worse. It’s not an exaggeration to make the claim that the economic fallout for average Americans will be much worse than their worst nightmare.
