Yes, I’ve been doing the happy dance since Vice President Kamala Harris locked up the number of delegates to become the DeFacto democrat party’s presidential nominee, thanks to the courageous, selfless generosity of her boss, POTUS Joe Biden who has voluntarily stepped down from this role. He just showed us what real strength looks like and it’s not the faux toughness demonstrated by the GOP MAGA ex-president whose too chicken to agree to a debate with VP Harris.
I had been so worried about what I had perceived to be the level of despondency, complacency and lack of excitement in the election process by even the base of democrat voters with POTUS Biden being their standard bearer. This is a major dangerous symptom of what happens to a population on its way to being set up to be governed by an autocrat. But all of that negativity has been turned around as VP Kamala Harris has taken on the mantle of being the presidential nominee for democrats and all Never-Trumpers.

Supporters of Kamala Harris have taken the baton from her and POTUS Biden by taking back their power. They’re flooding the social media outlets with memes and favorable messages to drown out the GOP MAGA voices.
This task has been made easier with the political infrastructure lifting her up with record-setting levels of donations, volunteers signing up to be on her team, lots of positive media attention, etc.
But let’s get real. The GOP MAGA ex-president helps VP Harris by not proposing any future policies that actually lifts up anyone except himself and his like thinking rich buddies.
It’s time to arm VP Harris followers with facts regarding what would really be in the economic cards for essential workers under a GOP MAGA ex-president’s administration. And it’s nothing good except for whatever the ex-president does to cater to those into the business of “culture wars,” like taking it to the “woke” liberals, protecting the growing power and relevance felt by White Evangelicals, keeping the country, White. They’ve already started with racist tropes like accusing VP Harris of being a DEI hire.

GOP MAGAs plan to keep voters focused on their version inflation issues being the fault of POTUS Joe Biden’s administration as well as blaming him for the flooding of criminals over the US Southern border in key states. They want VP Harris to answer for what they see as POTUS Biden’s failings,
The latest GOP MAGA talking point, requiring pushback, is that in 2020 interviews, VP Harris promoted defunding police. She gave a nuanced response that some funding ought to be allocated to programs that creates more safety. But she also said, “we’re not going to get rid of the police. We all have to be practical. But let’s separate out these discussions.”
The other talking point is the GOP MAGAs calling her the boarder czar. POTUS Biden never assigned her this position. She was tasked with meeting with leaders in central American countries to determine what could be done to decrease the numbers of their citizens taking the long dangerous trek to seek refuge by crossing the US southern border. She accomplished this task and POTUS Biden issued executive orders, according to what she shared.

I’ll be providing more information about how Project 2025 will restructure the entire federal government in future blogs. Guess who wrote the forward in the upcoming book regarding the ultra-conservative Project 2025 manifesto. It’s the GOP MAGA ex-president’s pick to be his vice-president, JD Vance.
Steve Rattner did this homework in developing data for us to use. He shares his graphs and data in his NY Times piece and compares GOP MAGAs lies with facts.
Meanwhile, the GOP MAGA ex-president has been up to some shenanigans by attempting to influence the Federal Reserve members into not lowering interest rates before November 2024. Since the Fed cutting interest rates for legitimate reasons would translate into lower interest rates for consumers buying a house, car and other goods, asking the Fed not to take this action, when appropriate, hurts average Americans.

As per a July 24, 2024 Fortune report by Eleanor Pringle, “Wall Street convinced of September cut—defying Donald Trump:”
Excerpts:
“September is seemingly the month Wall Street is pencilling in a cut to the base rate by the Fed—but former President Trump won’t be pleased.”
“In an interview with Bloomberg released last week, the current Republican presidential nominee attempted to quash any plans to cut the base rate ahead of the November.”
“It’s something that they know they shouldn’t be doing,” Trump said of the politically independent, non-partisan organization.”
“The former TV star—having previously indicated he would oust chairman Jerome Powell—reversed his stance in the interview and said he would let Powell serve out the rest of his term “especially if I thought he was doing the right thing.”

“Yet Wall Street, at least, seems certain Powell and his six colleagues on the Board of Governors are going to defy the Republican nominee.
“Their confidence springs both from slowing economic data and from public remarks made by members of the board in recent weeks.”
As per July 2024 New York Times analysis by Steve Rattner, “Don’t Take Trump’s Word for It. Check the Data:”
Excerpts:
“That Mr. Trump has a proclivity for saying untrue things is well known. But in his latest campaign for the White House, I’ve been struck by what appears to be an escalation in both the frequency of Mr. Trump’s lies and the outrageousness of his distortions.”
“Now that the uncertainty around Mr. Biden’s candidacy has been resolved, the campaign will begin anew. With Mr. Trump sure to ratchet up his falsehood-laden rhetoric, it’s a good time to review his recent record of dishonesty.”

Jobs
Truth: “Under Mr. Trump — even excluding the impact of the Covid pandemic — the economy generated an average of 182,000 jobs a month, well below Mr. Biden’s 277,000 a month (excluding his post-pandemic bounce) and Bill Clinton’s 242,000.”
Inflation
Truth: “Rising food prices are understandably on the minds of many Americans. But not a single item tracked by the government is more than 56 percent more expensive than it was when Mr. Biden took office, while grocery prices overall have gone up 21 percent.”

Tax cuts
Lie: “What we did was incredible …. We got the largest tax cut in history.”
Truth: “The most analytically valid method for measuring the size of a tax cut is to compare it with the size of the economy at the time. By this standard, the Trump tax package was the eighth largest tax cut in the past century, well behind the cuts that Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama signed into law. (Mr. Trump’s tax cuts mostly benefited corporations and the wealthy.)”

Debt
Tariffs
Truth: “Studies have found that the costs of goods subjected to tariffs increased by roughly the full amount of those tariffs, meaning the costs were passed on to consumers.”

Ukraine
Lie: “The European nations together have spent $100 billion, or maybe more than that, less than us.”
Truth: “Mr. Trump has this reversed. While the US and Europe spent roughly similar amounts the year after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, their aid continued to grow; ours flatlined as Mr. Biden battled with isolationist Republicans before finally securing a new aid package in April.”
Immigration
Truth: “With unemployment having been at or below 4.1 percent for 30 months, we have a shortage of workers, not an excess. The number of employed native-born Americans has not grown meaningfully since 2019, but that’s largely because of retirements, not competition from immigrants.”

Crime
Truth: “Crime has declined since Mr. Biden’s inauguration. The violent crime rate is now at its lowest point in more than four decades, and property crime is also at its lowest level in many decades.”
Presidential rankings
Truth: “Presidential greatness may be in the eye of the beholder, but this assertion is laughable. A recent survey of more than 150 current and former members of the presidents and executive politics section of the American Political Science Association put Mr. Trump dead last, behind James Buchanan (tarred with allowing the Civil War to begin) and Andrew Johnson (impeached, like Mr. Trump, and nearly convicted). Mr. Biden was ranked 14th greatest.”
If you want to change the way the Trumpelstiltskin is seen around the world , stop calling him “Mr.” Trump. Mr. Is an honourific of sorts. It means he is being seen as respectable. The Orange Shithead MAGAt should be called something like Boss Trump, or if you think that is still being too nice to him try calling him ChumpTrump, something that will state he is a mental lummox. Turn the tables on him with his dishonourable names for Bidn and Kamala. This will help people who still think he is somehow upstanding in political circles.

Hi!
I couldn’t agree more. I’m hoping VP Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov Tm Walz will also agree. When they counter him, they can’t elevate his standing as he doesn’t deserve it.
Hugs, Gronda
