aside Donald Trump’s Misogynist Ways Will Cost Him In November 2016

clinton-dt-being-punched-by-lady-great-imageI am convinced that the Women’s vote will be one segment of the population that will carry the day on November 8, 2016. It is a safe bet that a lot of women have dated a Donald Trump in their past, including me. I recall comments like, why do you wear glasses? The answer is so, that I can see you better. You would look so perfect if you just did….The response would be something like, I don’t get many complaints. It doesn’t take long to figure out that a male like the Donald dates someone who makes him look good and who doesn’t outshine him. Deciding not to date a narcissist is no easy task. It is no wonder that many women would like to slap him silly.

This is why his misogynist recent comments about the weight gain of the 1996 Miss Universe, Alicia Machado hit home to so many women. She is now campaigning on Hillary Clinton’s ticket and is not so enamored of Donald Trump as he thinks she should be.

After the most recent debate, he has been floating the idea that he will bring up Bill Clinton’s philandering past which will not endear him with the majority of women voters.

The above two actions are so rich when one considers the surrogates who surround  Donald Trump, like Roger Stone, Newt Gingrich, Michael Cohen, Roger Aisles, Rudy Giuliani, Steve Bannon, and Chris Christie, etc. All but one have their own women and fidelity scandals and all but one have problems with their girth.

If “the Donald” dares to bring up Bill Clinton’s past, he’d better be prepared for the cross jab by Hillary Clinton which will definitely win that round.

The Hollywood Reporter published a 10/3/16 AP piece detailing how Mr. Trump sizes up women. Here are excerpts from the article,  “‘Apprentice’ Cast and Crew Recall Donald Trump’s Demeaning Sexual Comments to Female Contestants:”

“In his years as a reality TV boss on The Apprentice, Donald Trump repeatedly demeaned women with sexist language, according to show insiders who said he rated female contestants by the size of their breasts and talked about which ones he’d like to have sex with.”

clinton-photo-the_apprentice_logo“The Associated Press interviewed more than 20 people — former crewmembers, editors and contestants — who described crass behavior by Trump behind the scenes of the long-running hit show, in which aspiring capitalists were given tasks to perform as they competed for jobs working for him.”

“The staffers and contestants agreed to recount their experiences as Trump’s behavior toward women has become a core issue in the presidential campaign. Interviewed separately, they gave concurring accounts of inappropriate conduct on the set.”

“Eight former crewmembers recalled that he repeatedly made lewd comments about a camerawoman he said had a nice rear, comparing her beauty to that of his daughter, Ivanka.”

clinton-donald-trump-celebrity-apprentice-2014“During one season, Trump called for female contestants to wear shorter dresses that also showed more cleavage, according to contestant Gene Folkes. Several cast members said Trump had one female contestant twirl before him so he could ogle her figure.”

“Randal Pinkett, who won the program in December 2005 and who has recently criticized Trump during his run for president, said he remembered the real estate mogul talking about which female contestants he wanted to sleep with, even though Trump had married former model Melania Knauss earlier that year: “He was like ‘Isn’t she hot, check her out,’ kind of gawking, something to the effect of ‘I’d like to hit that.'”

“The Trump campaign issued a general denial. “These outlandish, unsubstantiated and totally false claims fabricated by publicity-hungry, opportunistic, disgruntled former employees have no merit whatsoever,” said Hope Hicks, Trump’s campaign spokeswoman. “The Apprentice was one of the most successful primetime television shows of all time and employed hundreds of people over many years, many of whom support Mr. Trump’s candidacy.” She declined to answer specific questions that were emailed and declined an interview request.”

“Former producer Katherine Walker said Trump frequently talked about women’s bodies during the five seasons she worked with him, and said he speculated about which female contestant would be “a tiger in bed.”

“A former crewmember who signed a non-disclosure agreement and asked not to be identified, recalled that Trump asked male contestants whether they would sleep with a particular female contestant, then expressed his own interest.”

“We were in the boardroom one time figuring out who to blame for the task, and he just stopped in the middle and pointed to someone and said, ‘You’d f— her, wouldn’t you? I’d f— her. C’mon, wouldn’t you?'”

“Other cast and crew interviewed said they had positive, professional experiences with Trump, and added that they had never heard comments that made them uncomfortable.”

“Contestant Poppy Carlig, who performed the twirl, said she considered Trump’s request “playful banter.” She added: “I don’t immediately jump to the conclusion that people are having bad intentions with what they are saying. He said I reminded him of his daughter and I thought that was really touching.”

clinton-photo-celebrity-apprentice“Twelve former contestants or members of the crew spoke on the record about what they described as Trump’s inappropriate behavior. Another nine spoke to the AP about their concerns regarding Trump’s treatment of female colleagues but said they did not want to be identified because they signed non-disclosure agreements, or were concerned about wrecking their careers or retaliation from Trump.”

“Walker, who said she was the only high-level female producer during the first season, said Trump turned to her during a break outside of the control room to ask who he should fire. Walker demurred, she said, but noted that teammembers had told her one contestant had caused her team to lose their business task. Trump raised his hands and cupped them to his chest to ask whether it was a contestant with large breasts, she said.”

“He said, ‘You mean the one with the’ — and he puts his hands out in a gesture to signal the girl with the giant boobs. He didn’t even know her name,” Walker said, adding that the contestant, Kristi Frank, was fired at the end of the episode.”

“I thought he noticed my hard work, but I guess he didn’t,” said Frank, a former restaurant owner who studied industrial engineering.”

clinton-donald-trump-celebrity-apprentice-2014 “She said that after Trump delivered his punch line “You’re fired!” he told her fiancé that “of all the girls,” she was the contestant he would have chosen to marry.

“It makes me a little sick,” Frank said. “It’s kind of sweet, but it makes me feel like ‘OK, he’s checking me out again.'”

“In portions of boardroom sessions never broadcast, Trump frequently would ask male contestants to rate the attractiveness of their female competitors, former crewmembers and contestants said.”

“If there was a break in the conversation, he would then look at one of the female cast members, saying ‘you’re looking kind of hot today, I love that dress on you,’ then he would turn to one of the male cast members and say, ‘Wouldn’t you sleep with her?’ and then everyone would laugh,” said a former crewmember who spoke on condition of anonymity because of a non-disclosure agreement. ”

clinton-good-photo-newapprentice“If you didn’t answer, he would dig in and say, ‘Do you think so and so is attractive? Would you sleep with her? Well, what about if you really had to, would you?'” Folkes said. “It was so bizarre, because he (otherwise) seemed so professional.”

    • Dear Jueseppi,

Women are going to be part of the coalition that stops DT cold in his tracks. As always I am grateful for all of your support and thank you for this reblog.

      Ciao Bello, Gronda

  1. Reblogged this on It Is What It Is and commented:
In my opinion … there’s no reason for any woman to ‘want’ him … unless they are as ‘fake’ as he is … interested in ‘fake’ riches and money!!
( … money that his Daddy gave him)! Arrgghh ….

  2. Dear Horty, There is only one credible reason that I can think of and you’ve already stated it. I am believing that women are going to rule the day on 11/8/16.

Thanks a million times over for your support and for this reblog. Hugs, Gronda

  3. It tickles me that people don’t see through his attacks on those who criticize him. Pick the adjective and he will throw it at them to say they were wrong. Yet, when it is many more than one who are saying this, it seems that the only constant in the equation may be at fault.

When I was reading the piece by the attorney who worked for him for years and is asking people not to vote for Trump, he cited an interesting story that should have been sign. In his car interview, Trump bragged of his sexual prowess with the ladies to someone he was interviewing for a job. He should have gotten out at the corner and walked away.

Ailes is advising him on the debate prep. There is a man who was just fired for sexual harassment.

    • Dear Keith,

He is definitely the guy that you would not want your daughter to marry. There used to be an axiom that you could size up a person by the company that he or she kept. All those guys in the above picture have had issues with the fairer sex.

I hope his attorney was paid as he had a history of stiffing those in the legal profession, as well..

      Ciao, Gronda

  4. Hi Gronda, I am feeling that the result of the American election will reflect a global pattern in terms of Women, and issues of a particular socio-economic voice. That is kind of scary as history shows sane decisions do not always prevail. However there seems to me that there are two “revolutions” or indeed choices, if HRC can assimilate a greater dialogue with the working poor I would predict a landslide of positive outcome. This American election reflects a narrative of social evolution, with possible global consequences for progress.

    • Dear Steele 46, You are so correct in your analysis.

I am hoping that In the last month of this election season, that she will talk more about her plans for lifting up families out of poverty. Her policies already reflect this goal such as a major drive to improve US infrastructure which means better paying jobs; providing for free college; financial help for child day care, etc. People want hope for a better future and she should address this need.
      Ciao, Gronda
