aside Exposing Donald Trump’s Latest Attempt To Discredit Ms. Jessica Leed’s Groping Story

clinton-photo-dt-family-0923trump02Irony is what comes to mind as I observe how Mr. Donald Trump’s family is reacting with skepticism to the women coming forward to claim that he kissed, groped and interacted with them in an inappropriate manner consistent to what he said in the 2005 “Hollywood Access” video tapes, recently made public. They are circling around in defense of their family member, Donald Trump. It is telling that they didn’t have any empathy for Hillary Clinton who found herself in a similar position. Instead they conspired to humiliate Mrs. Clinton during the recent 2nd presidential debate as Donald Trump with cohorts trotted women from her husband’s lurid past in front of her.

Today (10/13/16) I was watching TV when one of Donald Trump’s surrogates was challenging Jessica Leeds version as printed in the NY Times, of how Mr. Trump moved the armrest to then grope her while she was seating in a first class airplane seat next to him. The surrogate was very convincing as she stated that she had done her own research but could not find any planes servicing the New York market during that time frame of 1980s that had armrests which were moveable. Consequently, the surrogate was challenging Ms. Leeds truth by pointing out that her story was not factually possible.

clinton-twa-plane-twal1011-twa-l-1011Fortunately, we bloggers are better researchers than Mr. Trump’s surrogates claim to be. I found a good source, “Boarding Area-View From The Wing.” The author Gary Leff responded today to Mr. Trump’s agents with his report, “Armrests Used to Move in First Class (Donald Trump Sexual Assault Defense Debunked).” Here are some excerpts:

“Jessica Leeds claimed that in the early 1980s she was on a flight to New York and was upgraded into an empty first class seat next to Donald Trump. She says Trump lifted the armrest and began to touch her inappropriately (“He was like an octopus”).”

clinton-dc10-photo-showing-up-armrestnationaldc10“Trump spokesperson Katrina Pierson went on television and invoked ‘the aviation defense’ where she just starts naming older aircraft models. Bizarrely she suggests that L-1011s and DC-10s didn’t fly to New York, so we don’t have to look at those aircraft. And first class armrests don’t move.”

“With proof that there were L-1011s and DC-10s with movable armrests, Pierson’s argument rests entirely on the notion that neither aircraft type served the New York market.”

“Except that the original L-1011 concept came out of discussions between American Airlines and Lockheed for a plane that would fly transatlantic from New York (and Dallas) and the inaugural commercial flight of the L-1011 was Eastern Airlines Miami – New York. TWA had significant New York operations with L-1011s and even had a famous crash, flight 843 to San Francisco, where all passengers were evacuated but the plane was lost to fire.”

“And while we’re on the subject of out of left field theories, here’s a report of a DC-10 spotting a UFO over… New York (1977).”

Today (10/13/16) CNN News reported the following: “While modern first class seating on US carriers have fixed armrests as a built-in beverage tray, several airlines — including the long-defunct Braniff Airways — featured first class seats in the 1970s and 1980s that had a movable armrest that folded down between the window and aisle seats.”

Today’s VOX’s article by Dylan Matthews, “Trump spokeswoman: he couldn’t have assaulted Jessica Leeds because … airplane armrests?” reports:

You will be shocked to learn by Katrina Pierson, who was 4 or 5 years old at the time that Leeds alleges the assault took place, is incorrect about which planes were flying out of New York in the early 1980s:

Hi , the aircraft types you mentioned all did operate into New York City.

“This wasn’t the most loathsome  thing Pierson said in her CNN hit (that would be her insistence that Trump’s accusers only want “15 minutes of fame”) but despite its ridiculousness, it is instructive of how the campaign will likely approach these allegations: by scrutinizing individual details to cast the accusers as liars.”

THIS IS KARMA AND IRONY!

  1. Gronda, I find it interesting these women are labeled “horrible, horrible liars” when they are corroborating his own words used with Billy Bush and Howard Stern about what he liked to do because he is a star or owned the beauty pageant. His fans need to be aware there is far more out there as this is consistent with his nature. Keith

    • Dear Keith,

But DT, cohorts and family want us to believe all the women’s stories about Bill Clinton are true, that HRC was supposed to act kindly towards them even though all of these stories were fodder for the press over 20 years ago.

So far they are not living up to the expectations set by themselves.

      Ciao, Gronda

      • Donald’s defense is kind of specious, especially when they are corroborating his own stories. Some of these allegations came out before the 2005 Billy Bush audio was released and some before the knowledge of the Howard Stern audio. The Guardian has a timeline of the events. The fact that accusations link up with his words before the public heard them throw water on his arguments. Plus, it is not just The New York Times doing this. The key for Republicans who are still wavering, there are more out there, so my strong suggestion to them is to divorce yourself from this man or he will take you down.
