aside For The Next Few Days, I Will Be Attending My First Democratic Party Convention

I will not be in a position to blog for the next few days.

In 2016, I departed the republican party after too many years to count. I found that I could no longer be a party to siding with an organization that supports the likes of the republican President Donald J. Trump.

Very recently September 2017, I changed my party affiliation from being an Independent voter to become a full fledged Democrat.  I am certain that I am not alone.

Foe the past couple of months, I have been sworn in as a delegate and I have joined my local democratic party. I feel moved to do whatever I can to make sure that the democratic party wins the majority of US congressional seats in 2018. Failure is not an option.

This weekend, starting Friday, October 27, I will be spending 3 days participating in my first democratic convention at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in Orlando, Florida. I will be joining in an array of training classes while meeting leaders and candidates from the democratic party.

I will blog on my experiences but for the next 3 days I will be rarely accessing this computer.

      Gday Mate to you as well….

      I have never been active in politics until this past year. President Trump has been the catalyst for many of us “Nasty Women” to get off the couch to do what ever we can to make sure that this great nation in progress will never again have to tolerate another incompetent, bully Russian asset who is not of sound mind in the White House.

      I had a great time but the training was also very constructive. This convention convinced me that the FL DEMS have their act together and if they continue on their proposed plans, the democrats will turn the State of Florida into a dark blue state.
