Why would it not surprise anyone to learn that about a half of the republican Donald Trump’s Twitter followers are not for real?
Here is the rest of the story…
On 5/3017, Ryan Bort Newsweek penned the following report, “”NEARLY HALF OF DONALD TRUMP’S TWITTER FOLLOWERS ARE FAKE ACCOUNTS AND BOTS.”
Anyone can amass an exorbitant number of Twitter followers. You don’t even have to be famous. All you have to do is pay for them. The comedian Joe Mande currently has a healthy 1.01 million followers, but his bio contains a caveat: “twitter is trash, facebook’s the devil, i bought a million followers for like $400 none of this shit matters antarctica is melting.”
Mande even explained the stunt last November in The New Yorker. “The simplest way to tell who’s winning the Twitter game is by counting followers,” he wrote. “The biggest celebrity accounts—Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga—seem to have millions of followers. But in 2012 I learned that only a portion of those are real humans; some are ‘bots,’ artificially created to boost an account’s popularity. Immediately, I knew that I had found my calling.”
Because Donald Trump is the president of the United States and the most famous person on the planet, one wouldn’t think he would need to employ a bot to boost his Twitter following. It appears, however, he might have done just that. As screenwriter John Niven pointed out Tuesday morning, Trump’s Twitter account saw an unusal spike in followers over the weekend, many of which appear to have been created artificially.

“In April 2016, when Trump was beginning to gain traction as a serious candidate to at least win the Republican presidential nomination, the former reality TV star had a mere 7.58 million followers, only 8 percent of which were fake,
This may create a new definition of shallow. It reminds me of the comment by Thomas Wells, an attorney who worked for DT. He said DT obsesses over criticism. So, buying followers is not a stretch, nor is it a stretch that he would call into radio talk shows pretending to be his own publicist. As JK Rowling accurately called him, “you tiny, tiny, little man.”

Dear Keith,
I’ll give him this, DDT knows how to create his own Universe of truth.
What is so sad, is having decent folks like Sean Spicer, the generals having to stand in front of the public to tell us about the president’s beautiful clothes when he is a stark naked, lunatic.

Gronda, at some point, these minions have to look in the mirror and ask is this man worth lying for? He is is about to get a backlash on his reported Paris withdrawal that will stun him and beget more lies. Keith

Dear Keith,
There are 22 republican US Senators who have written a letter to the president asking him to withdraw. These 22 need to be primaried.

Gronda, one was Mitch McConnell. I posted a comment to him. He has been lying to coal miners for a few years now. Ironically, he and John Boehner have separate cameos in “Merchants of Doubt,” where they each say on camera global warming is real and man-influenced and we need to do something about it. It was about the same time Newt Gingrich did the TV commercial with Nancy Pelosi to say he was wrong to deny global warming. Keith

Dear Keith,
Anyone of the 22 republican Senators who signed their name to the letter asking DDT to withdraw from the Paris Climate accord need to be history and that includes Sen. Mitchell..
