aside Mystery Solved About The Eight Person At the June 9, 2016 Trump Tower Meeting

We who keep up with the news know that there was a June 9, 2016 Trump Tower’s meeting with the attendees of Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, the well connected Russian Lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya, her translator Anatoli Samochornov, the Russian American lobbyist/ fixer Rinat Akhmetshin, the British born Russian music publicist Rob Goldstone and the eight person, the Russian Ike Kaveladze, the money man who has been working in America as an employee of  Ara and Emin Agalarov.  The republican President Donald Trump and his son, Donald Jr. met the Agalarovs and Rod Goldstone at the 2013 Miss Universe Contest held in Moscow.

According to Donald Trump Jr. the material handed over by the Russian lawyer was of no value.

The most important new tidbit is that it was the FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller who called the attorney representing both Agilarovs, Scott Balber to inquire about the identity of the eight person, Ike Kaveladze.

Here is the rest of the story…

On July 18, 2017, Rosalind Helderman of the Washington Post has penned the following report, “Eighth person in Trump Tower meeting is identified.”

“An American-based employee of a Russian real estate company took part in a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between a Russian lawyer and Donald Trump Jr., bringing to eight the number of known participants at the session that has emerged a key focus of the investigation of the Trump campaign’s interactions with Russian.”

Ike Kaveladze’s presence was confirmed by Scott Balber, an attorney for Emin and Aras Agalarov, the Russian developers who hosted the Trump-owned Miss Universe pageant in 2013. Balber said Kaveladze works for the Agalarovs’ company and attended as their representative.

“Balber said Tuesday that he received a phone call from a representative of Special Counsel Robert Mueller over the weekend requesting the identity of the Agalarov representative , which he said he provided. The request is the first public indication that Mueller’s team is investigating the meeting.”

“Donald Trump Jr. agreed to take the meeting on the promise that he would be provided damaging information about Hillary Clinton as part of a Russian government to help his father’s presidential campaign, according to emails released by Trump Jr. last week.”

“Rob Goldstone, a music promoter, told Trump Jr. in an email that his client, Emin Agalarov, a Russian pop star, requested that Trump Jr. meet with the lawyer.”

“The full list of the participants has remained a mystery until now, despite a statement from Trump Jr. that he was releasing his emails in an effort to be “transparent” about the meeting, which he has said amounted to nothing.”

“Balber said Kaveladze works as a VP focusing on real estate and finance for the Agalarov’s company, the Crocus Group. Aras Agalarov requested that Kaveladze attend the meeting on his behalf, Balber said. Kaveladze is a U.S. citizen and has lived in this country for many years, according to Balber, who is said he is representing the man.”

“Balber said Kaveladze believed he would act as a translator, but arrived to discover that the lawyer, Natalia Veselnitskaya had brought her own translator, a former State Department employee named Anatoli Samochornov. Samochornov has declined to comment, citing a non-disclosure agreement he signed as a professional translator. Balber said he believes the list of participants known to the public is now complete.”

    • Dear 1EarthUnited,

It is getting more interesting. The important news that I’ve garnered is that the FBI’s Special Counsel Mr. Mueller is hot on the trail of this story.

      Hugs, Gronda

  1. Dear Mz. Gronda,
I suppose it is just a strange coincidence that this news broke while I was following up on a tip that I picked up late last night on the other end of the webb! This man actually fits quite well into the scheme of things involving the tRump camarilla as his past will attest to! He is/was involved quite heavily in money laundering, as were many of tRumps other business associates. He was sent to this nation from Russia at a relatively young age, attended a prestigious university and almost immediately started a business that has been said to be a funnel for large amounts of money exiting via nefarious means from Russia.

Have we accidently stumbled into one of the possible sources of financing for the tRump dynasty? I suspect there is a pretty “Yuge, Biggly, Large reason the tRump was attempting to hide this man presence at the meeting from the publics view… “Think Straw and Camels Back?”

    • Dear Crustyolemothman,
Thanks for the reference. I was just getting ready to update this blog by calling the 8th person, the money man. So, what we have is,the connected with big wigs at the Kremlin, the Russian attorney, the hacker/finder of dirty laundry Rinat Akhmetshin, and now the money man to assist with finances. This sounds like a Russian operation to me. And we know that the FBI Special Counsel Mueller is hot on the trail.

I did update this blog with excerpts from the reference you sent me re Moscow Times. Thanks again for the tip.I am going to have to do a separate blog. Again Thanks!

      Hugs, Gronda

  2. Dear Mz. Gronda,

I can not find it now, but my memory is quite strong that there was mention of this man in one of the articles several years ago involving Bayrock and the tRump SoHo tower ties to the Russian Mob. I also recall that he and Eric Trump are both very involved in Micro Lending, so perhaps that is another direct tie to the tRumps.

One more little piece of trivia that might interest some people and cause others to wonder if the bottom is falling out at the tRump White House (palace?). It seem that there is allegations that Mz. Trump did not accompany her husband, Ivanka, or Kushner back to DC on AF 1! Could the reluctant 1st lady be attempting to distance herself from the situation that is arising out of this latest scandal?

    • Dear Crustyolemothman,

Thanks for the reference. While I do look at his blog for interesting tidbits, I would never use his material without adequate confirmation. He does get things wrong.

      Hugs, Gronda.

    • Dear Crustyolemothman,

I remember a story that I posted awhile back….here are excerpts. I did not come across the name of Mr.Kaveladze.

“Buyers of units in Trump SoHo, a 46-story luxury condominium-hotel in Lower Manhattan, asserted that they had been defrauded by inflated claims made by Mr. Trump, his children and others of brisk sales in the struggling project. He and his co-defendants settled the case in November 2011, agreeing to refund 90 percent of $3.16 million in deposits, while admitting no wrongdoing.”

Many loudly opposed a huge glass tower (Trump SoHo) at 246 Spring Street that would stab the sky high above its low-key surroundings.”

“If the plans for it attracted controversy, so too would the company most responsible for its development: Bayrock Group.”

“Mr. Trump was foggy on how he first came to do business with Bayrock, a small development company whose offices were in Trump Tower in Midtown. In a deposition a few years ago, he said it might have been a Bayrock associate, Felix H. Sater, who first approached him in the early 2000s.””

“Mr. Sater, a Russian immigrant, had recently joined Bayrock (2007) at the behest of its founder, Tevfik Arif, a former Soviet-era commerce official originally from Kazakhstan. Bayrock, which was developing commercial properties in Brooklyn, proposed that Mr. Trump license his name to hotel projects in Florida, Arizona and New York, including Trump SoHo.”

“The other development partner for Trump SoHo was the Sapir Organization, whose founder, Tamir Sapir, was from the former Soviet republic of Georgia. In addition to receiving a licensing agreement, Mr. Trump would manage the completed condo-hotel, and he was given a minor equity interest in it.”

“Emails and testimony in several lawsuits show that Mr. Sater and Mr. Arif worked closely with Mr. Trump and others in the Trump Organization. Mr. Trump was particularly taken with Mr. Arif’s overseas connections. In a deposition, Mr. Trump said that the two had discussed “numerous deals all over the world.” (See 2007 NY Times report, stock manipulation scheme)

(As per a (2017) post, “In 2010, (Tevfik Arif) was charged in Turkey for smuggling underage girls into the country for prostitution. Another principal in the deal is Russian émigré Tamir Sapir, who also lives in Trump Tower. Sapir’s executive vice president and top aide, Fred Contini, pled guilty in 2004 to “participating in a racketeering conspiracy with the Gambino crime family for 13 years)”

“What few people beyond insiders at Bayrock knew was that in 1998, Mr. Sater was implicated in a huge stock manipulation scheme involving Mafia figures and Russian criminals — and that he became a confidential F.B.I. informant.”(19 Charged in Stock Scheme Tied to Mob – The New York Times Mar 3, 2000) (THIS IS AROUND TIME MR. K GOT INTO TROUBLE 2000 BUT I DIDN’T FIND CONNECTION)

“Mr. Lauria brokered a $50 million investment in Trump SoHo and three other Bayrock projects by an Icelandic firm preferred by wealthy Russians “in favor with” President Vladimir V. Putin, according to a lawsuit against Bayrock by one of its former executives. The Icelandic company, FL Group, was identified in a Bayrock investor presentation as a “strategic partner,” along with Alexander Mashkevich, a billionaire once charged in a corruption case involving fees paid by a Belgian company seeking business in Kazakhstan; that case was settled with no admission of guilt.”

Mr. Sater left Bayrock after the news of his criminal background was reported.

“By the time Mr. Trump sat for a deposition in a lawsuit in November 2013, it was clear he no longer saw the benefit of knowing the Bayrock executives. He said he barely knew Mr. Arif: “I mean, I’ve seen him a couple of times; I have met him.”

“As for Mr. Sater, “if he were in the room right now,” Mr. Trump said, “I really wouldn’t know what he looked like.”

But according to the 8/26/16 Politico post by Ben Schreckinger, “A Russian-born, mafia-linked businessman whose ties to both Donald Trump and loyalists of Russian President Vladimir Putin have sparked scrutiny, visited Trump Tower last month for undisclosed business, (Felix Sater) told POLITICO.”

Remember that mid February 2017 story about a Ukraine “peace proposal” hand-delivered to the White House by Mr. Trump’s lawyer, Michael Cohen. He had dropped the proposal off in a sealed envelope at the office of then-National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. The blueprint presented a way for President Trump to consider lifting sanctions against Russia in exchange for a withdrawal of pro-Russian forces from eastern Ukraine along with a long-term lease of Crimea to Moscow. Of course, the Ukrainian officials were not at all pleased with any of this. Guess who was the middleman for this Ukrainian deal? The answer is Felix Sater. It’s a small world.

    • Dear Horty,

The plot does indeed get thicker. With this list of characters, there is no way that this was an innocent event. I do get comfort from knowing that Mr. Mueller is hot on this trail..

Thanks a million times over for all of your support and for this reblog.

        • Dear Horty,

DDT would love to fire Mr. Mueller BUT he has been warned that this act would spell disaster. The stupidest .thing he did was to fire Mr. Comey. That recommendation was from Jared Kushner, And did Jared Kushner disclose the 8th person’s name on his forms to obtain a security clearance. The noose tightens.

I suspect that Mr. Mueller has enough now that he gets that this needs to be over soon..
