The republican President Donald Trump’s latest sycophant, the attorney Jay Sekulow who is head of a Christian legal organization/ TV show which depends on lots of donations from average everyday folks so that he can purchase badly needed items like a plane, has already begun the alt reality show which discounts the president’s very own words, that he is under investigation for obstruction of justice charges for the firing of the FBI Director Comey because of the Trump-Russian probe.

In a tiff, President Putin withdrew Russia from being part of the G8 Nations which became the G7. Ever since, he has been maneuvering to figure out a way to rid Russia of the financial shackles of those sanctions and to SOMEHOW get even with the EU and NATO for daring to interfere with his expansionist plans.
And enter stage….The republican President Donald Trump with his campaign operatives which included Paul Manafort who let it drop to certain Russian officials’ ears that Mr. Trump would be willing to help Russia with the removal of those shackles when and if he became the next US president.
President Vladimir Putin was motivated to do his part. And so far, President Putin is loving the show starring the US president. But he is no closer to having those pesky sanctions lifted. So, for the next act, how does President Trump maneuver to help his behind the scenes partner with the removal of the sanctions.
Enter Stage: The republican legislators equivocating on the issue of the president appearing to be doing the bidding of our country’s foe, Russia and its leader, Vladimir Putin.

Enter stage: Jay Sekulow, latest apologist who steps in to develop a defense against all the accusations rising up against the president due to suspicions by many regarding his his involvement with Russia.
He is to share the president’s message that those throwing stones at our president are on a “witch hunt,” via TV, especially FOX TV, print media outlets like Breitbart and social media, all favorite news sources of the president’s followers.
It appears that Mr. Sekulow’s real job assignment is to develop enough sympathy and goodwill among the president’s followers to where the president would be guaranteed his survival with the base, if and when the president decides to fire the FBI’s special counsel currently in charge of the Trump-Russia inquiry, which would be a highly controversial move.
“Let’s not forget how this really began. Just weeks ago, fired FBI Director James Comey admitted under oath that he leaked privileged documents to a friend to give to reporters at the New York Times. Memos that he had written in the course of his official government duties about privileged conversations with the president.”
“The reason: Comey testified that he did so to manipulate the situation and force the appointment of a Special Counsel. And, as we know – that’s ultimately what occurred.”
“Since that testimony, there have been news reports indicating that President Obama actually knew about the attempts by Russian President Vladimir Putin to disrupt and discredit the U.S. presidential race through a cyber campaign.”
“Let’s find out what happened in August – why did the president not reveal this information at that time? And why did he not respond forcefully to the Russian hacking and other cybercrimes?”
“President Obama had this information in August 2016 – three months before the election.”
“But instead of taking substantive action to respond to these troubling findings, President Obama and his team largely remained silent until after the election and basically ignored this disturbing information.”
“The Obama administration expelled some diplomats, closed a couple of Russian compounds – action so minor that it was described by those inside the Obama administration as “largely symbolic.”
“So why did President Obama sit on this information?”

“I am sure he thought former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would win and perhaps didn’t want to muddy the waters in the run-up to the election. And he probably figured she would address this issue when she got into the White House.”
“But, of course, that did not happen. Almost immediately after Donald Trump was sworn in as the nation’s 45th president, the infatuation with Trump and all things Russia began. And thanks to James Comey – a Special Counsel is appointed to look into all of this.”
“The truth is there’s no need for a Special Counsel.”
“What’s really needed is an investigation into the actions (or lack thereof) by President Obama last summer when he became aware of this Russian bombshell.”
“Let’s find out what happened in August – why did the president not reveal this information at that time? And why did he not respond forcefully to the Russian hacking and other cybercrimes?”
“Important questions that must be answered. That should be the focus of an investigation.”
“President Trump deserves an apology.”
ON BACKGROUND: (It is important to know the back ground of the kind of person who could write the fantasy above alt-reality piece.)
As per a 6/20/17 Slate Article by Mark Joseph Stern, “Sekulow is a conservative litigator who has spent his career dismantling the constitutional separation of church and state. In 1987, he persuaded the Supreme Court to strike down an ordinance barring Jews for Jesus from proselytizing in Los Angeles International Airport. The issue was close to Sekulow’s heart: Although he was raised Jewish, he became a Messianic Jew while attending Atlanta Baptist College (now Mercer University). As he explained in an essay, Sekulow “commit [his] life to Jesus” at a performance by the Liberated Wailing Wall, the Jews for Jesus’ music group.”
“Sekulow served as the Jews for Jesus’ general counsel for several years and founded a nonprofit, Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism, or CASE, to fund his legal work. In 1991, he moved to the American Center for Law & Justice, a conservative Christian advocacy group founded by Pat Robertson to counteract the American Civil Liberties Union. In his capacity as ACLJ chief counsel, Sekulow continued to argue cases at the Supreme Court, usually defending school prayer and government subsidization of religion. Sekulow also repeatedly attacked “buffer zones” around abortion clinics that prevent protesters from accosting women. He lost that fight but won several high-profile religion cases by asserting that restrictions on religion in schools violate freedom of speech.
“Sekulow’s profile rose precipitously in the 1990s thanks in large part to Paul and Jan Crouch, owners of the Trinity Broadcast Network. (Jan Crouch, the LA Times reported in 1993, referred to Sekulow as “our little Jew.”) The Crouches gave him a talk show on the network called Call to Action: Legal Issues Facing Christians Today, a platform that cemented his reputation as a top evangelical attorney. According to the LAT, donations to Sekulow’s nonprofit, CASE, quadrupled after he mentioned it on air.”

Dear Mz. Gronda,
While I, and most of your readers understand the end of the article, I fear that most of the tRumpsters will not, and it is quite possible they would seek to utilize it in a way not desired. I sincerely wish you would have ended the article with a summation instead of the quote from the FOX opinion piece. However the article was very interesting and pretty much summed up what my research had discovered.

Dear Crustyolemothman,
These are the words of Jay Sekulow and are not mine to change. Remember that this is what the right will be arguing. I’ll think about what to do. Maybe, I’ll just add my own thoughts.
Thanks and Hugs, Gronda

Dear Mz. Gronda,
I realized that, however I fear that some people may twist and distort and “assume” the words are yours! That is why I suggested a short summation at the end. Please don’t misunderstand my intent, it is not to tell you how to write your articles, as you are far better than I could ever hope to be, and please accept my comments as a suggestion..

Slightly off-topic but worth mentioning: Trump white house backdoor channels may include the Russian “Telegram” app which encrypts any communication end to end. He may be getting his orders from Putin this way, and it’s undetectable!
But now the Russian gov’t want to Telegram’s CEO to register with with new Russian Data Protection Laws. Russia’s communications watchdog Roskomnadzor had recently threatened to block Telegram if the service did not hand over information required to put the app on an official government list of information distributors.

What this means is the Russian gov’t would now have control of ALL encrypted messages from anyone using this service thinking their communication is secure. Let’s hope the Dems are wise enough not to use a Russian messaging service, b/c everything is being monitored by the Russians.
Russian state sponsored hackers “Shadow Brokers” are highly regarded as the best in the world, they are the ones who hacked into the DNC mainframe and Hillary’s email server, Anthony Weiner’s laptop and leaked it all thru WikiLeaks.
They know everything the NSA knows, even hacking the NSA’s secrets and leaked Vault 7!

Dear Roger,
Do you have these TV ministers who ask for donations from hard working peoples so they can purchase a desparately needed plane? This is big business here in the states.
THERE ARE SOME LEGITIMATE TV MINISTRIES LIKE JOYCE MEYER BUT MANY FIT THE GREEDY CATEGORY.
